1950's 14 fret Oval hole

"Grand Modele" 14 Fret Oval Hole, 675mm scale. this is an outstanding gypsy guitar by the elusive Luthier Bucolo. It is the first one I've ever had, consistent with black and white photographs of his instruments displayed at the "Foire de Paris" in 1947. The guitar has a "B" tailpiece that I have seen on other instruments. laminated Walnut back and sides, solid Spruce top, Walnut neck with a sandwich of maple in the middle, Ebony fingerboard, with long side inlays, SB tuners, and Dupont replacement bridge. The guitar has a paper label inside from the retail shop "Symphonia" where I used to go as a boy, on the Boulevard Magenta in Paris. It is an outstanding gypsy guitar with no issues, from one of the rarest provenance, with superb playability and sound. NHSC SOLD
