Brazilian laminated back and sides, solid spruce top, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. Castelluccia guitars are rare, and like Favino, this Jacques has been retired for a long while..the guitar has a chunky neck reminiscent of a 50's Gibson. it is in near new condition and the sound is outstanding.. staking up against any gypsy guitar. 1950'S Chorus

This is a super rare guitar, and the first one i've ever had..Jacques Castellucia's version of the di Mauro "Chorus" it is sporting the Castellucia tailpiece, and a beautiful set of golden SB tuners. the neck is reminiscent of the original Selmer profile, D shaped.. laminated mahogany back and sides, arched spruce top, mahogany neck with an Ebony fingerboard. this is a classic gypsy guitar that is hard to find..!!..wait a second..this is an OUTSDANDING GUITAR..!! you simply cant find in the modern world, this good and authentic an instrument for the MONEY..!! 1960's 14 fret D hole

670mm scale,this guitar bears a Paul Beuscher label, and was build by Jacques Castellucia, at a time when many makers were "jobbing' their production to the larger retail houses. In 2000, a certain luthier R. Dallaine restored it and promptly added his label as well..60's 14 fret D hole are quite rare, and this example offers a perfect balance of sound, playability and price.. NHSC SOLD

1960's Classical A2 #464

This is jacques Castellucia's, or Jean Baptiste's version of the Maccaferri "Concert" Classical.(good luck sorting out the family's fondness for only two first names) this one is a 14 fret cutaway, solid Spruce top, solid two piece Mahogany back, and sides, Ebony fingerboard, three piece "sandwich" neck .. two piece Mahogany and one piece Rosewood for strength. As the label reads, she is " faite à la main" "made by the hand"... It has a lovely voice, plenty of volume and is very easy to play. NHSC SOLD
