1947 Chorus Deluxe

I just simply love this guitar...It is the oldest, and the only one i've ever had or seen, and in sunburst..!!! you can see this model in the di Mauro section of the Selmer book, in a photo taken in 1947 at the Paris Music Fair.. curly maple back and sides, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, "deluxe" appointments such as, bound headstock, bound f holes, arm rest, adjustable bridge and SB tuners.. excellent playability and sound..and it is RARE..RARE..RARE..!! NHSC SOLD

1950's 12 Fret round hole

everything is "wrong" about this guitar..it's a round hole, it's a 12 fret..but the reason why it's on my website, is because in spite of all that, it's a great sounding gypsy guitar..for less... 650mm scale, laminated mahogany back and sides, solid spruce top, mahogany neck, with a rosewood fingerboard, tuners that turn backwards, nice chunky C shaped neck..at some point it had an original pickguard, removed, which shadow can be seen..the tailpiece is a DB replacement.... this thing barks..!! it's the perfect "pompe" guitar NHSC SOLD

1950's Chorus Deluxe

The "deluxe" version of the Chorus. , bound F holes, multiple binding, armrest, SB tuners, adjustable bridge. curly maple back and sides, neck with rosewood fingerboard. it has been refretted which affords it a perfect playability. the sound projects and feels your ears with gypsy vibe. NHSC SOLD

1950's Saint Louis Blues

this Antoine di Mauro model from the very early 1950's.. has an interesting blend of early and modern features..it still has the tuners that turn backwards.. and the brand on the back of the headstock.. 650mm scale, a C shape three piece neck, made of mahogany and a central rosewood insert for stiffness, but the "modern" adjustable bridge "a la Gibson Tuneomatic".. and the tailpiece that now accepts ball end strings..laminated maple back and sides, solid spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, this guitar is in near new condition, showing a couple of nicks and scratches, but virtually unplayed.. which is very rare for one of those.. the sound is lively, the playability is spot on.. a great example..
