1950's 14 Fret Oval Hole

This guitar was made by David Enesa, a Spanish Luthier based in Paris, on behalf of retail powerhouse Paul Beuscher.. rosewood back and sides, solid european spruce top, mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. slightly smaller body than the Selmer, with a "falling" cutaway. the top has a few top cracks repaired, and several scrapes that look like cracks but aren't. the sound is really impressive, the action is perfect, and it is quite rare... the only one I have ever seen. outfitted with a beautiful set of DR tuners and tailpiece. on the inside..a Paul Beuscher paper label, and the David Enesa "Marque au Fer". this is a really really really special guitar. 1950's 14 fret oval hole

this guitar was distributed by retail powerhouse Paul Beuscher, and is one of the many examples of instruments made by obscure crafstmen for the retail market. this particular guitar is almost a carbon copy of a Selmer.. it is obvious that attention was given to duplicate the original closely. the neck is a dead copy and the overall feel is spot on.the guitar got a recent makeoever with the installation of a set of DR tuners as well as a tailpiece. the entire guitar was gone over with a near transparent French polish. it is excellent playing and structural condition and the sound is bright and lively.
