from it's date of birth, this would make it a Valentine's day guitar...!! something a fine girlfriend/wife would buy you..!!!
it is Maurice's player guitar.. no bells, no whistles.
to make it more affordable.. solid spruce top, mahogany laminated back and sides, mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard.. simple Bilardi style tailpiece and nickel tuners, with a satin finish.
I am coming more and more to the conclusion that
as far as "traditional" gypsy guitars with laminated woods, Maurice simply builds the best guitar around.. and this one is a perfect example of that..
