1950's Chorus

This is a very nice interpretation of the di Mauro Chorus guitar. laminated maple back and sides, laminated spruce top, three piece mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. outfitted with a new set of Schaller gypsy tuners. the action is just right, the playability is spot on, and you have a genuine vintage gypsy barking machine that the modern stuff can't touch. 50's 14 Fret F hole

copy of the di Mauro Chorus, this guitar was made in Mirecourt, which, for centuries, was the center of Lutherie in France..Couesnon was/is famous for it's brass and reed instruments. this is their contribution to the gypsy world.. surprisingly, it's a terrific sounding little box.. tons of volume and presence.. the neck is straight and comfortable, it's been refretted and plays well up and down..replacement DR tailpiece, as well as Dupont bridge and moustache set..maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, mahogany top and back with maple sides...the original tuners turn backwards...
