1950's Saint Louis Blues

this Antoine di Mauro model from the very early 1950's.. has an interesting blend of early and modern still has the tuners that turn backwards.. and the brand on the back of the headstock.. 650mm scale, a C shape three piece neck, made of mahogany and a central rosewood insert for stiffness, but the "modern" adjustable bridge "a la Gibson Tuneomatic".. and the tailpiece that now accepts ball end strings..laminated maple back and sides, solid spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, this guitar is in near new condition, showing a couple of nicks and scratches, but virtually unplayed.. which is very rare for one of those.. the sound is lively, the playability is spot on.. a great example..
